Video Projection for Theatre
2010

A theatre production of ‘Fool for Love’, written by Sam Shepard and directed by Imara Savage. It was performed at Sydney’s Belvoir theatre in October of 2010 to rave reviews. Mike designed and created video material that was projected onto the set for the climax scene of the play.

About the play: “Reunited by a powerful but toxic love which they are unable to reconcile or walk away from, May and Eddie are holed up in a seedy motel room on the edge of the Mojave Desert. Torn between love and hate, lust and disgust, they tear each other limb from limb, hurling themselves against the walls and each other with frenetic violence.”

Music Video
2009 - 3 minutes

A music video for the track ‘Would You?’ by Holly Throsby, with guest vocals by Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy. The song revolves around a simple question: “Would you want somebody new?”. The clip drifts slowly in and out of reality - lights pass and bodies fall, through a slow dark night, on the way home in the car.

The video above is a short excerpt. To view the clip in its full length, please click here.
